Tippmann Launches Special Order Program for X7®

New program makes it easier and more affordable to order a fully-modded X7

Buffalo Grove, Ill. – Tippmann Sports is introducing a new in-store ordering program for its popular X7® marker. The program, scheduled to roll out at specialty paintball dealers in late August, utilizes an interactive countertop or wall-mounted display, which allows interested consumers to view and choose from six different X7® configurations. With just the flip of a page, consumers can see how the X7® looks with a variety of different modifications. Then, they can purchase a fully-modded marker or just the selected mods. Those purchasing a fully-modded marker will receive a special ten-percent discount. Within days, the new mods or fully-modded marker will be ready for consumers to pickup at their local paintball retailer.

We think this program will be a hit among consumers and retailers alike, said Ron Goldblatt, Director of Marketing for Tippmann Sports. It’s easier than ever for players to shop for and order a fully-modded X7®. Although the X7® is well known for the thousands of different looks it offers, we wanted to make it easier for consumers to see the performance benefits of the marker. Retailers will also like the new program because they can now promote six different markers in a footprint that’s about the size of a single X7®. The new display saves critical space while adding an interactive point-of-interest for their shoppers.

The six X7® configurations currently available through the special order program include: the UMP, X36, XP5, M16, AK47 and XP5SD-inspired markers. These fully-modded markers carry MSRPs ranging from $409 to $499, while the mods alone range from $145 to $245. The X7® Basic, which includes an AR-15 styled magazine with built-in storage compartment, adjustable rear site, modular shroud and a receiver with military-spec Picatinny rails, carries an MSRP of $319.

Scenario Big Game: Democrats vs. Republicans

Four years ago, we hosted a democrats vs. republicans big game and the republicans commanded the field and took home prizes. It’s time again to determine which party will be the victor. Come and show your patriotic best, join your party’s team and fight!

This game has a twist…

Each party will have a campaign headquaters to try and overrun and control. Each side will have an opportunity to use special forces which can be obstained by successfully completing assigned missions. The winning team will have controlled the opposing party’s headquarters for the most amount of time throughout the day of play.

Northwest Paintball at it’s best

splat fest 2008

There are many reasons you wont want to miss this SuperGame. First, brought to you by Able Company Immortals ,Greg Hastings of Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball the video game will be playing along with some of his design crew for the game. You wont want to miss the chance to play with a legend! Also, this will be the last SuperGame held at our West Salem field. If you have never played this beautiful field, you wont want to miss this event. If you have played the West Salem field, then you know you cant miss this event!!

This SuperGame will be the 36th time the event has taken place. Each year we get more and more players and we expect close between 400-600 at this one. Most players are new to the sport, in fact we give a FREE rental gun setup with a full goggle and face mask and unlimited CO2 to anybody that needs it with a paid SuperGame entry. The teams are divided into two large armies. At 10am the whistle blows and the game does not stop until 5pm. Each hour there are fun objectives that each army is trying to win, but the game always continues. If you get hit at anytime during the game, you just go back to your base, wipe off the hit, and join in the action again. You can take breaks anytime you like by just calling yourself out and leaving the field. When you want to join the game again, you just go back to your base and enter the game.

The Warpaint Outdoor field has many exciting themed forts that will be used for the SuperGame including Hamburger Hill, Hearbreak Ridge, Disputed Crossing, the Meadow fort with tower and tunnel, The Guns of Navarone, Wildwoods, the DMZ and more!! All 40 acres of the field will be in play for the entire game!

Families are welcome! The SuperGame attracts many families, so if your family plays paintball, this is the perfect game for you. I guarantee you will have a great time and you have a good chance of taking home some of the over $15,000 in prizes!

Triad is looking for more members. Here are a few guidelines for members:

1) You do not have to be any good. If you love to play for fun or are just starting out, we will work with you.
2) We are looking for players over the age of 21 but we will work with players over the age of 18 and make exceptions on a case by case basis.
3) Try to have your own transportation, money, and gear to play.
4) Try to come out to at least 50% of the games or practices that we play. We tend to do 2 things a month (ie. 2 practices, 2 games, or a practice and a game.)
5) You must be a team player. Triad finds paintball way more fun if we can roll as a team and use team tactics.

As a recruit it is expected that you play with Triad for 3 or more practices or events before being considered to be voted on the team. This will allow current team members to get to know you, and for you to decide if Triad is a good fit for you. Please know that we are looking for team members that think of paintball as a fun hobby.

You may step down from the recruiting process at any time. If you become a member of Triad you may also leave the team for any reason at any time.
